QUETTA, : A spell of rains in southwestern province of Balochistan has led to increase in the water level at Hub dam, raising the level by 339 feet.
According to Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) Managing Director (MD) Asadullah Khan, the water is enough for providing water to Karachi for six months.
He said that the water reservoir can aid in overcoming the shortage of water in the western district.
The MD said that 50 million gallons of water on a daily basis can be provided to the city.
